I've always wanted to shoot an outfit post at this location, so when we headed to Calgary on Sunday afternoon I knew we had to make this one of our stops. 

Summer Neutrals

Anyone who knows me knows I am always a fan of a neutral colour scheme, from my home to my personal style. We've been hit with some gorgeous hot weather recently, I'm not a lover of wearing shorts in the summer so I look more for light and comfortable dresses. This dress from Aritzia is so easy to wear in the summer time, it's perfect for a summer picnic, or if you live in Alberta - Stampede season, this dress would pair perfectly with a pair of cowboy boots.

My favourite purchase recently has to be these denim coveralls, or dungarees, whatever you wish to call them, I've always been made fun of for calling them dungarees, mainly by my husband (Thanks babe).

Ankle boots have got to be one of the most versatile pair of shoes a woman can own. Black ankle boots have become such a staple in my fall wardrobe, although Fall season is pretty much non existent in Alberta, it's already been and gone. Until next year Fall. 

Something Embellished

It's officially Friday!! Hello weekend. I'm loving this sweater from H&M, it's pretty much your everyday black sweater but with some weekend fun attached, embellishment can just completely transform an item of clothing! I love that this sweater can be dressed up or down, here I dressed it down with a casual pair of ripped jeans and a fedora. This was the perfect location to shoot this outfit and the lighting was more than perfect!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I love how simple midi/maxi dresses are for spring and summer. They only need minimal accessories and I love to pair a bold pair of sunglasses with this black and white striped midi. I have to admit as much as I love layering it feels good to keep it simple with just one easy layer.

I'm loving nude shades right now for spring, I'm so over dark autumnal/winter shades, don't get me wrong I love a dark Jeans and black blouse combo but I am so ready to give my wardrobe a spring makeover.
